Why do we need this book?
Our children are being persuaded to accept the Qawm Lut narrative via the education system, kids' books, cartoons, TV shows and movies. Secular liberals aggressively teach our children that sex and gender don't matter; what only matters is that two people love each other. Additionally, they are normalising that it is OK to change your gender by taking puberty blockers and having plastic surgery.
No book like this has been written
Parents desperately need this book. They want to know how to explain the Islamic view on these subjects to their children. Parents need an easy-to-understand guide which will first explain what the modern progressive views about sexuality and gender are. Second, show them how they can explain to their child that they contradict Islam and its detrimental effects on a person's mental health and well-being. This book will also be a valuable resource for Muslim teachers, Imams and youth workers.
Who is Farhat Amin?
I am an author and host of the Smart Muslima Podcast. Alhamdulilah, I have been sharing my know-how with Muslim parents for over 20 years! My book Smart Teenage Muslimah is an Amazon best-seller, and Smart Single Muslimah is a best-seller in Malaysia. My other titles include Hands Off Our Hijab and Child Loss. Alhamdulillah, thanks to the generous support of donors, I could publish my previous books.
How will your contribution be spent?

Printing and promoting the book.
With your support, I want this book to reach as many Muslims as possible globally. I will be self-publishing the book on Amazon. However, Amazon does not post books to many Muslim countries; if they do, it's too expensive. So I want to work with Muslim publishers who can publish and distribute the book.
I want to have the book translated into other languages. Inshallah, I want to translate the book into French, German, Spanish, etc.
There will also be some costs of administration and website development, which we hope to cover with your kind support.
